The audience was convinced that Salomon Arratia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Zorita was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Mateo Leguizamo hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. El Salvador's Valentino Ferrant suffered a sore foot after 43 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Jacob Aberasturi fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UMUT EFE FC's protests and gave Jacob Aberasturi a yellow card for diving instead. El Salvador made a substitution. Thiago Zorita replaced Valentino Ferrant. A collision led to UMUT EFE FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Jacob Aberasturi hit a great ball. UMUT EFE FC's Matias Joachim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save UMUT EFE FC from getting a goal against them. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Salomon Arratia was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, UMUT EFE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Recep Tayyip Özalpsan to maneuver through the defense. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fethi Haksever couldn't finish the play. UMUT EFE FC's Robert Bochkin was substituted for Fethi Haksever. In the 73rd minute, Jesus Carvallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Salomon Arratia succeeded in the game's 76th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. 78 minutes into the game, Thiago Zorita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Salvador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UMUT EFE FC the free kick. Thiago Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After having played for 83 minutes, Ramazan Ulukut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UMUT EFE FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramazan Ulukut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 83 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Marco Tamayo. Salomon Arratia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Robert Bochkin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. UMUT EFE FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
