In the 91st minute of the match, Khalid Parry tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wei Bing Ran saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 93rd minute of the match USA got a corner. FC Sójcze's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jenson Smith ran over to the corner to take the kick. USA's Jacob May was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wei Bing Ran in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Many of USA's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. USA may have spent more time on the ball, but FC Sójcze were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
