Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arthur Bufi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Arthur Bufi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francisco Seco went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The supporters of Cruzeiro Esporte Clube booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Cazalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Sainz to maneuver through the defense.
