Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Damian Maftei kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Esmeraldas S.C.'s Martinez Cines got a free kick in the 5th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Esmeraldas S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Aguinaga Nebot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 14 minutes, Martinez Cines managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esmeraldas S.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Martinez Cines was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Yan Zhou Xuan threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by İbrahim Volkan in the 19th minute. Aguinaga Nebot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 20th minute of the match. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Maftei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Stefanos Terzopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Esmeraldas S.C. made a substitution. Daniel Castillo replaced Martinez Cines. Damian Maftei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eliseo Mina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aguinaga Nebot having to interfere. After 72 played minutes Esmeraldas S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Castillo. Yan Zhou Xuan made in the 73rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by İbrahim Volkan. Esmeraldas S.C.'s Stefanos Terzopoulos quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Milagros Fraga, made in the 77th minute of the game. 82 minutes into the match, Esmeraldas S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Aguinaga Nebot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Milagros Fraga came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aguinaga Nebot could save by the left post. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. In the 92nd minute of the game Yan Zhou Xuan made a throw-in which Daniel Castillo played forward. Aguinaga Nebot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Gallo in the 95th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
