Thunderstorm Riders's Arkadiusz Barciniak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 9th minute of play forced Thunderstorm Riders's goalkeeper Arkadiusz Barciniak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thunderstorm Riders's Arkadiusz Barciniak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Thunderstorm Riders from getting a goal against them. 13 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Koti Kot came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute of the match Thunderstorm Riders got a corner. USA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jerzy Mielak ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Thunderstorm Riders's Koti Kot to fire away a dangerous shot which Marco Day despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konrad Resel in the 29th minute of the match. After 29 minutes of play, Thunderstorm Riders's Konrad Resel made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Day was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 32nd match minute, Thunderstorm Riders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariusz Karanowski to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Konrad Resel came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The USA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Thunderstorm Riders were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Cassius Byrne made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konrad Resel in the 51st minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thunderstorm Riders were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after USA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jerzy Mielak took the corner. The corner ended in Jerzy Mielak almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but USA's Marco Day did a great save. With a little luck, USA's Marco Day got control of the ball when Kudret Tüzer tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 71stth minute of the game Monty Rogers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Thunderstorm Riders's Arkadiusz Barciniak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of USA booed when Thunderstorm Riders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Almir Lago didn't get a good kick on the ball. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. In the 77th match minute, Thunderstorm Riders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Almir Lago to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the match, USA's Khalid Parry sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arkadiusz Barciniak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. USA were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Thunderstorm Riders's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jenson Smith took the corner. A well done corner resulted in Diego Bradley drilling the ball in to score 1-1 behind Thunderstorm Riders's goalkeeper. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konrad Resel in the 85th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Zhuang Tian Kun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arkadiusz Barciniak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sam Campbell, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 94 minutes into the match, Thunderstorm Riders's goal looked a bit too open when Sam Campbell came free, but Arkadiusz Barciniak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the USA players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
