BIAMAR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Izydor Robak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Izydor Robak in the 25th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Salvatore, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Gunnar Gerdberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gunnar Gerdberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A collision led to BIAMAR getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Matias Seixas hit a great ball. The BIAMAR fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when BIAMAR's Kürşat Başok looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kürşat Başok in the 41st minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ceferino Salvatore's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. 47 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BIAMAR the free kick. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Izydor Robak made the kick off in the second half. BIAMAR made a substitution. Valentin Banga replaced Izydor Robak. Olavo Gameiro hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 61st minute of play forced BIAMAR's goalkeeper Caio Guerreiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunnar Gerdberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When BIAMAR's Gunnar Gerdberg in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. If Gunnar Gerdberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Caio Guerreiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute, Tomas Illescas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Caio Guerreiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. When the final whistle sounded BIAMAR left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Venezuela.
