The supporters of Cabezones booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Rouco didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. Dong Zhen Song took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dong Zhen Song breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 12 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Cabezones's Dong Zhen Song. Dong Zhen Song was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Serafino Blasco kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dong Zhen Song having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Dong Zhen Song. Dong Zhen Song didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Tafalla went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Dong Zhen Song showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Cabezones's Dong Zhen Song played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 45th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Oso, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. In the 50th match minute, Cabezones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Petri to maneuver through the defense. 54 minutes into the match, Cabezones's goalkeeper Dong Zhen Song had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Facundo Cadaval. In the 61st minute, Joel Gaona made a precise shot to the right of Dong Zhen Song. Cabezones's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. With a little luck, Cabezones's Dong Zhen Song got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a free kick in the 71st minute. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 74th minute. It was a well-played corner which Luca Zorita managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 76th minute Celso Hernando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eriberto Oso during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cabezones's Eriberto Oso got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 82nd match minute, Cabezones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacek Brak to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute, Joel Gaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dong Zhen Song was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Alberto Tafalla slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dong Zhen Song. That made the score 0-7 after 86 minutes of play. When the final whistle sounded Mexico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cabezones.
