Deportivo Gamberro's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Gamberro's goalkeeper Bruno Pascal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Reynardo in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute of the match Deportivo Gamberro got a corner. The corner led Deportivo Gamberro's Tony Manerov to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Bruno Pascal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 34th minute of the match. In the 37th minute Deportivo Gamberro were awarded a corner. Lucas Rovan went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Lucas Rovan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. In the 43rd minute, Ambrosio Kepa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Deportivo Gamberro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. After 52 played minutes Deportivo Gamberro got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Henrico. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After 55 played minutes Deportivo Gamberro got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Mosen. In the 59th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. Laureano Harri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Perpinya in the 92nd minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
