Raphael Moore made in the 16th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jacob May. 18 minutes into the match, Los Ángeles de Charlie 2's goalkeeper Mihnea Plăcintă had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cassius Byrne. Mihnea Plăcintă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute of the game Raphael Moore made a throw-in which Cassius Byrne played forward. In the 24th minute of the match USA got a corner. Los Ángeles de Charlie 2's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cassius Byrne ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led USA's Cassius Byrne to fire away a dangerous shot which Mihnea Plăcintă despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Los Ángeles de Charlie 2's goalkeeper Mihnea Plăcintă had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cassius Byrne. Luisinho Uribe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Siro Llorienzo kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Mihnea Plăcintă made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cassius Byrne in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute, Cassius Byrne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luisinho Uribe might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Day. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luisinho Uribe ran back to his position shaking his head. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisinho Uribe in the 43rd minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cassius Byrne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Ciriaco Selmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Los Ángeles de Charlie 2 getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Ciriaco Selmo hit a great ball. Cassius Byrne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the game, Los Ángeles de Charlie 2's Luisinho Uribe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marco Day made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisinho Uribe, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Luisinho Uribe's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Marco Day skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mihnea Plăcintă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 70th minute of the match. Los Ángeles de Charlie 2's Mihnea Plăcintă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 72nd minute of play. Marco Day made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Luisinho Uribe sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd minute, Luisinho Uribe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. Los Ángeles de Charlie 2's Juanfran Villalcazar was substituted for Victorio Otoniel. The audience was convinced that Sam Campbell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mihnea Plăcintă was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Mihnea Plăcintă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khalid Parry, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Sam Campbell blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mihnea Plăcintă having to make a save. The USA supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Los Ángeles de Charlie 2's performance. The match ended with a win for Los Ángeles de Charlie 2.
