The supporters of Valencia CF Mindszent booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Alvarado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 16 played minutes, Valencia CF Mindszent's Christos Xenidis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rolando Noboa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Valencia CF Mindszent reached it. Christos Xenidis charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christos Xenidis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Valencia CF Mindszent's Christos Xenidis got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Valencia CF Mindszent's goalkeeper Daniel Banaszak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gábor Joó in the 27th minute of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Saltuk Peykan heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After a rather tough play, Peru's Julian Murillo got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Valencia CF Mindszent's goalkeeper Daniel Banaszak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 39th minute of play forced Valencia CF Mindszent's goalkeeper Daniel Banaszak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 43 minutes, Gábor Joó managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valencia CF Mindszent's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gábor Joó was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Banaszak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Gáspár Rigó made in the 51st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saltuk Peykan during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 59th minute, Saltuk Peykan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the last second Daniel Banaszak throw himself and got hold of the ball when Julian Murillo in the 61stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Valencia CF Mindszent's Dan Beard was substituted for Silvestre Pacorro. Valencia CF Mindszent's Sebastian Tercero was substituted for Marcell Kiss. Daniel Banaszak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 65th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Peru's zone, Bob Sinclair stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal and Bob Sinclair tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th minute Bob Sinclair shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Andri Shevchenko in the 71st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valencia CF Mindszent's attentive Gáspár Rigó managed to snatch the ball when Milagros Fraga made a throw-in in the 80th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 85th minute of play forced Valencia CF Mindszent's goalkeeper Daniel Banaszak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Banaszak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor.
