If Karl-Michael Brask had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Michael Brask in the 18th minute of the match. If Karl-Michael Brask had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 21st match minute, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mugur Bejan to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl-Michael Brask in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Zorita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Karl-Michael Brask had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Michael Brask in the 29th minute of play. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Karl-Michael Brask got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Xerxes Doro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Michael Brask sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Karl-Michael Brask might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Zorita. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl-Michael Brask ran back to his position shaking his head. Luis Rubio made in the 46th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Mugur Bejan. Karl-Michael Brask took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1.

Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Michael Brask in the 53rd minute of play. In the 57th play minute Karl-Michael Brask came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ricardo Zorita. 0-2. Xerxes Doro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Michael Brask, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute of the match Batalionul U23 Dorobanti got a corner. The supporters of Batalionul U23 Dorobanti booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in El Salvador's zone, Xerxes Doro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal and Xerxes Doro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute Karl-Michael Brask shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
