With a little luck, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Ruy Montenegro got control of the ball when Alberto Tafalla tried to sneak it across the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. In the 66th minute, Fred Monteiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fred Monteiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
