Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jailson Batista took the kick off in the first half of the match. Orelio Picka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. After some careless play in the Barcellos Mineiro FC defense, Orlando Casaus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gil Coelho. The Barcellos Mineiro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gil Coelho should have stopped the shot. Gil Coelho came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Mariano Lacasa scored 0-3 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gil Coelho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gil Coelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 22nd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Barcellos Mineiro FC's Gil Coelho. Gil Coelho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 34th minute, Jailson Batista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Francisco Carballar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Gil Coelho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 41 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gil Coelho. Barcellos Mineiro FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. The referee felt a red card was in order, 45 minutes into the game, when Manuel Antunes put in a rough tackle. Mariano Lacasa shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Lacasa was the one to do the kick off. Waka Barcellos hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. 51 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gil Coelho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Guillermo Fontirroig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Chile booed when Barcellos Mineiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalkeeper Gil Coelho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Jailson Batista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute, Chile's Mariano Lacasa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gil Coelho. Gil Coelho yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalkeeper Gil Coelho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gil Coelho made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Mariano Lacasa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gil Coelho. That made the score 0-9 in the 77 minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gil Coelho. Barcellos Mineiro FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-10. In the 83rd match minute, Barcellos Mineiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gernando Bueno to maneuver through the defense. If Orlando Casaus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalkeeper Gil Coelho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Gil Coelho in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 93rd minute of play forced Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalkeeper Gil Coelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Lacasa had several of the Barcellos Mineiro FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 95 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-11 score and a disappointed Gil Coelho as he didn't even see the shot coming. Chile's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
