Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 董骏景 in the 20th minute of the match. 董骏景's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Gayoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Uruguay's Francisco Seco got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, ☆Charallave☆'s goalkeeper Cesareo Alcantara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Seco. Cesareo Alcantara was a little too slow when Francisco Seco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 33rd minute, Arturo Carvallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, 董骏景 managed to get in a good position for a shot. ☆Charallave☆'s supporters rose to their feet, but 董骏景 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Gayoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. ☆Charallave☆'s Tanio Ocaliz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Arturo Carvallo in the 39 minute of the game. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 42 minutes Uruguay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Korneliusz Wozniak who took care of the corner kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chaime Delgadillo during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Uruguay booed when ☆Charallave☆ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chaime Delgadillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uruguay's Arturo Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tanio Ocaliz, made in the 45th minute of the game. The ☆Charallave☆ fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when ☆Charallave☆'s 董骏景 looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chaime Delgadillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 董骏景 couldn't finish the play. 78 minutes into the match, ☆Charallave☆'s goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Cesareo Alcantara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chaime Delgadillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the game, ☆Charallave☆'s 董骏景 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Gayoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 董骏景, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 minutes of play, ☆Charallave☆'s 董骏景 made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
