Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joel Gaona kicked off to start the match. Ruy Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 5th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Monteiro in the 7th minute of play. In the 10th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruy Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Macos Graciani made in the 11th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Luca Zorita immediately put the ball in play. 13 minutes into the game, Macos Graciani threw the ball into play from the sideline. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Carlos-Henrique Casemiro quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Ruy Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Ruy Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Mexico's Joel Gaona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruy Montenegro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Macos Graciani made in the 40th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Lorenzo Cazalla however managed to control. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Gernando Azevedo. But to his dismay, Gernando Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ruy Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Gernando Azevedo made the kick off in the second half. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gernando Azevedo in the 54th minute of play. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Luca Zorita was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Ruy Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Ruy Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 62nd minute of play. When Lorenzo Cazalla fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mexico's protests and gave Lorenzo Cazalla a yellow card for diving instead. After 63 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Cazalla. In the 64th minute of the match Arjen Robben shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dante Lacasa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Ruy Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 68th minute of play. Macos Graciani got a throw-in 69 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Joel Gaona. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gernando Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Cezary Bartoszek was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 74 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the game, one of Los Andes FC - FSCMZ:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ruy Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Ruy Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 88th minute of play. Despite being the better team, Mexico failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
