Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Miguel Berbiz got the match started through his kick off. Ruperto Platon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruperto Platon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 8th minute of play. In the 8th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Platon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Miguel Berbiz took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Ruperto Platon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 19th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Berbiz in the 26th minute of play. After 28 played minutes GrondofiSu FC got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Caradaro. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Ruperto Platon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Berbiz in the 39th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the game, Zacarias Mano threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Miguel Berbiz came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the GrondofiSu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Berbiz couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Gerardo Florin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Gerardo Florin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute, Gerardo Florin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GrondofiSu FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 64 minutes into the match, Gerardo Florin notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 70 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Ruperto Platon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Florin in the 77th minute of play. GrondofiSu FC's Ruperto Platon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save GrondofiSu FC from getting a goal against them. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by GrondofiSu FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. After 82 minutes, Joshua Secada mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the GrondofiSu FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 86 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Raitin came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Tomas Illescas put it in 3-3 from a short distance just to the right of Ruperto Platon. GrondofiSu FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Venezuela to leave the ground with a draw.
