The supporters of Panama booed when Canevare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Acep Hasanuddin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Ros to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, Acep Hasanuddin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Canevare fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Alberigo Tripodi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 95th minute. Canevare's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
