In the 8thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Estrela Solitária's Benjamim Dante was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Dudu Meira came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Estrela Solitária's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Benjamim Dante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benjamim Dante prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Julian Murillo sped through Estrela Solitária's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benjamim Dante. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Estrela Solitária's Sandrinho Hoffmann. But to his dismay, Sandrinho Hoffmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benjamim Dante prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 24 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benjamim Dante, 2-1. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandrinho Hoffmann in the 28th minute of the match. Benjamim Dante made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. In the 39th minute, Julian Murillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Estrela Solitária's Benjamim Dante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 39th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Arzen Krasniqi in the 43rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Julian Murillo scored 3-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benjamim Dante, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dudu Meira to make the kick off. Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luz Tejedor might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benjamim Dante. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luz Tejedor ran back to his position shaking his head. Benjamim Dante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 57th minute of play. Benjamim Dante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Benjamim Dante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 68 minutes Estrela Solitária's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Estrela Solitária's goalie and right to Alonso Berganza. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Estrela Solitária's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Benjamim Dante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Gerd Müller sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Peru booed when Estrela Solitária was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chicão Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Arzen Krasniqi, made in the 81st minute of the game. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerd Müller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Gallo in the 95th minute of play forced Estrela Solitária's goalkeeper Benjamim Dante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dudu Meira in the 96th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Estrela Solitária's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
