The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Felix Montes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Campdora booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Campdora's supporters rose to their feet, but Zeruko Candela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Andy Pool who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ramón Camara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 56 played minutes Campdora got a freekick which was hit by 谢远鹏. Ramón Camara made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target.
