After a rather tough play, Campania Athletic Club's Filippo Tassotti got a free kick in the 16th minute. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmondo Biagetti in the 19th minute of play. Thiago Pliego didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmondo Biagetti went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. With an all-out effort, Campania Athletic Club's Thiago Pliego threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Concetto Di Iulio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 23rd minute, Concetto Di Iulio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Campania Athletic Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Campania Athletic Club's Cane Di Dio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute of the match Chile got a corner. Campania Athletic Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Pedro Indiano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Campania Athletic Club's Cane Di Dio did a great save. Cane Di Dio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 34th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cane Di Dio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. Mariano Lacasa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 45 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Pozo. Campania Athletic Club's Concetto Di Iulio shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 45th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Thiago Pliego but with some difficulty. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Flavio Desiderio tried to sneak it across the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Flavio Desiderio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Thiago Pliego. Flavio Desiderio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Concetto Di Iulio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Mariano Lacasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Cane Di Dio in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Desiderio came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Cane Di Dio made a huge save. 65 minutes into the game, Campania Athletic Club's Rodel Francisco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thiago Pliego made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Concetto Di Iulio in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Concetto Di Iulio in the 67th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Concetto Di Iulio in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 72nd minute, Mariano Lacasa made a precise shot to the right of Cane Di Dio. Campania Athletic Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. Campania Athletic Club's Cane Di Dio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Campania Athletic Club from getting a goal against them. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Desiderio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Alan Tamayo hit a great ball. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cane Di Dio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Cane Di Dio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 94th minute of the match. Chile's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariano Lacasa in the 95th minute.
