Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Colosos Afc's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jess Johnson came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 5 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Dante Faron came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Andino struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Jess Johnson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Gogo Florinio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidro Gau hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jess Johnson came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 33rd minute. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Florinio in the 40th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 44 played minutes Colosos Afc got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Matei. In the 47th minute of the match Cesar Matei sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luis Gaufred made a kick off. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 59 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dante Faron who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Dante Faron got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 62ndth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colosos Afc's Jess Johnson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 63 played minutes Colosos Afc got a freekick which was hit by Luis Gaufred. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 67 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulinho da Silva in the 68th minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Faron, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Faron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Faron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jess Johnson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 89 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Dolfos came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jimeno Abancens hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ecuador fully deserved thier win.
