Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Faron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Faron, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jess Johnson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Colosos Afc's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Luca Zorita was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Faron in the 13th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jess Johnson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute of the match, Ruperto Taurino got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dante Lacasa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Modesto Sugar sent off a good shot on target. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Colosos Afc's Jess Johnson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 32nd minute of play. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Jess Johnson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abelardo Ariando kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 43 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Tafalla. Gogo Florinio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 48th match minute, Colosos Afc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dante Faron to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Gogo Florinio made the kick off in the second half. If Gogo Florinio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Jess Johnson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. 59 minutes into the match, Dante Faron notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Colosos Afc's Jess Johnson got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jess Johnson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jess Johnson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 66th minute of the match. Colosos Afc's Paulinho da Silva was substituted for Luis Gaufred. In the 72nd minute, Joel Gaona reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jess Johnson. The goal made the score 1-2. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st match minute, Colosos Afc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulinho da Silva to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Colosos Afc's Paulinho da Silva got a free kick in the 83rd minute. 88 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Jess Johnson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulinho da Silva in the 90th minute of play. In the 95thth minute of the game Paulinho da Silva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Mexico supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mexico would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
