Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bartolo Nuno started the match with the kick off. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolo Nuno, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Nuno in the 9th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Primitivo Fernanco made a huge save. Primitivo Fernanco was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mariano Lacasa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolo Nuno came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Bertran in the 20th minute of play. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Nuno in the 22nd minute of play. After 25 minutes, Bartolo Nuno made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Chile's Thiago Pliego tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Orlando Casaus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chile's supporters rose to their feet, but Orlando Casaus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Primitivo Fernanco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Tamayo to maneuver through the defense. Primitivo Fernanco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Casaus in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute of the match Chile got a corner. Boca Juniors's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Orlando Casaus heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 46 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Primitivo Fernanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolo Nuno came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Boca Juniors were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Lacasa was the one to do the kick off. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 57 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Primitivo Fernanco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 61 minutes into the game, Boca Juniors's Bartolo Nuno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thiago Pliego made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Boca Juniors made a substitution. Epifanio Medardo replaced Samuel Emesto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Casaus in the 66th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Primitivo Fernanco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute Orlando Casaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primitivo Fernanco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute of the match Orlando Lluques sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thiago Pliego skillfully saved the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ladislao Bertran kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Thiago Pliego. That made the score 1-4 in the 74 minute of play. Ladislao Bertran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Bordat in the 81st minute of play. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ladislao Bertran in the 85th minute. Orlando Casaus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orlando Casaus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Primitivo Fernanco having to make a save. In the 94th minute, Orlando Casaus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. When the final whistle went the supporters of Boca Juniors were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Chile side.
