Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. Jorge Gordillo hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Mauro Iruinea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute of play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro Iruinea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Iruinea having to interfere. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Leopoldo Luque tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 34th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Iruinea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, DirectorVisual.com's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Mauro Iruinea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Mauro Iruinea despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Primitivo Andino hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. DirectorVisual.com's Leopoldo Luque got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Matías Kranevitter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leopoldo Luque stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 69th minute Federico Urtats shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauro Iruinea was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Daniel Zorita. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mauro Iruinea made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. After 96 minutes of play, DirectorVisual.com's Hernán Crespo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ecuador were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing DirectorVisual.com to leave the ground with a draw.
