Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Leicester Lions's Şükür Hagi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Leicester Lions's Michal Budzyn got a free kick in the 4th minute. The corner led Leicester Lions's Camron Rhodes to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Leicester Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Grant Blacknell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute of the game Michal Budzyn made a throw-in which Denzil Howarth played forward. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Şükür Hagi in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leicester Lions's Şükür Hagi was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 28th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Camron Rhodes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Şükür Hagi in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Leicester Lions's Şükür Hagi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Venezuela's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Şükür Hagi 43 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. 46 minutes into the game, Joshua Secada was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leicester Lions the free kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Leicester Lions getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Will Lemerond hit a great ball. After 54 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camron Rhodes in the 59th minute of play. Şükür Hagi hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, Şükür Hagi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 68th minute Camron Rhodes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Şükür Hagi hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Leicester Lions's Jack Sharp was substituted for Alexander Cheetham. A collision led to Leicester Lions getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Şükür Hagi hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camron Rhodes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. Grant Blacknell made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Leicester Lions's Grant Blacknell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Correa in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Leicester Lions.
