Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Donato Spano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carter Egger charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carter Egger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Carter Egger kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After 9 played minutes Jucunditas got a freekick which was hit by Carter Egger. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Jucunditas defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmondo Biancone. The Jucunditas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmondo Biancone should have stopped the shot. In the 23rd minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edmondo Biancone was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Jucunditas's Carter Egger got a free kick in the 26th minute. Jucunditas's Edmondo Biancone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to Jucunditas getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Demetrio Tenaglia hit a great ball. Edmondo Biancone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 34th minute of play. Edmondo Biancone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 36th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmondo Biancone having to interfere. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Jucunditas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Venezuela were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Dave Sanna made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmondo Biancone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 56th minute, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. With a little luck, Jucunditas's Edmondo Biancone got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edmondo Biancone was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Tomas Illescas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomas Illescas really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmondo Biancone read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Illescas in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Edmondo Biancone, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Jucunditas's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmondo Biancone came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Venezuela's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
