Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Silviu Bălțăteanu made the kick off and thus started the match. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorel Ghionescu in the 4th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Gherghe having to interfere. BULDOZERUL SANTA FE's Eric Gherghe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of BULDOZERUL SANTA FE's Eric Gherghe. Eric Gherghe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. BULDOZERUL SANTA FE's Eric Gherghe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Eric Gherghe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silviu Bălțăteanu in the 20th minute of play. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rdth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BULDOZERUL SANTA FE's Eric Gherghe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Gherghe having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in BULDOZERUL SANTA FE's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eric Gherghe came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute, Florín Mihuț hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Eric Gherghe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 34th minute of play forced BULDOZERUL SANTA FE's goalkeeper Eric Gherghe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. BULDOZERUL SANTA FE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BULDOZERUL SANTA FE's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in BULDOZERUL SANTA FE's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eric Gherghe came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the BULDOZERUL SANTA FE defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eric Gherghe. The BULDOZERUL SANTA FE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eric Gherghe should have stopped the shot. After 46 minutes, Petre Bratu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BULDOZERUL SANTA FE and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Petre Bratu kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Eric Gherghe came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. In the 61st minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eric Gherghe was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. BULDOZERUL SANTA FE's Eric Gherghe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save BULDOZERUL SANTA FE from getting a goal against them. Cristian Sancho was extremely unlucky when he, in the 74th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 77 played minutes BULDOZERUL SANTA FE got a freekick which was hit by Costică Ipate. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, BULDOZERUL SANTA FE's Eric Gherghe got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Sancho succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-9 in the 84th playminute. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 88th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 91st minute, Luis Andino fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Eric Gherghe, passed just outside the right post. The supporters of Ecuador booed when BULDOZERUL SANTA FE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florín Mihuț didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eric Gherghe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 96th minute of the match. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
