In the 18th minute, Cheng Le Xing made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Bogdan Samokovliyski made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Luz Tejedor sent off a good shot on target. Bogdan Samokovliyski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Pakorro AFC's Cheng Le Xing sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cheng Le Xing in the 35th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Peru's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rolando Noboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 56th match minute, Pakorro AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eloy Soto to maneuver through the defense. Pakorro AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. In the 93rd minute Astor Giampietro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Astor Giampietro, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the final whistle went the supporters of Pakorro AFC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Peru side.
