Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Fúria FC's Wágner Dante started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fúria FC's Juninho Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Fernandino in the 3rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moises Fernandino during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Fernandino to maneuver through the defense. Juninho Teles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Luque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute El Salvador were awarded a corner. Mateo Leguizamo went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 10th minute, Fúria FC's Celsinho Fonseca ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wágner Dante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Moises Fernandino. In the 25th minute, Jailson Tepedino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute, Cristiano Corrêa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Gilvan Vaz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ricardo Zorita. That made the score 2-0 in the 30 minute of play. If Gilvan Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Abram Luque got a free kick in the 36th minute. If Abram Luque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juninho Teles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Moises Fernandino went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

With his leg Juninho Teles managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when El Salvador's Abram Luque fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Fúria FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Wágner Dante hit a great ball. In the 55th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abram Luque to maneuver through the defense. After 56 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Moises Fernandino. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wágner Dante, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Moises Fernandino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Abram Luque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71stth minute of the game Cristiano Corrêa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 74th minute Wágner Dante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 74 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Marco Tamayo. If Wágner Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moises Fernandino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Juninho Teles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Fúria FC booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Yepes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wágner Dante in the 84th minute of play. El Salvador's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
