Mario Fernandino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sorin Deliman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mario Fernandino went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Eduardo Fontirroig's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sorin Deliman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Eugen Jurcuț could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Camilo Freixa made a huge save. A collision led to Santul FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Santul FC's Sorin Deliman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Fontirroig in the 34th minute of play. Eduardo Fontirroig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sorin Deliman having to interfere. Sorin Deliman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mario Fernandino went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 45 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Fontirroig. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as Bolivia's Alfredo Ferrant slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sorin Deliman. That made the score 0-3 after 51 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Santul FC's Iordache Povară got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Julio Chicote hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Codruț Vasiloiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Freixa having to interfere. After 75 minutes, Șerban Arieșan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santul FC and the Bolivia players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Santul FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Șerban Arieșan hit a great ball. Mario Fernandino, 76 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Mario Fernandino was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 84th minute. Bolivia's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After having played for 87 minutes, Eugen Jurcuț managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santul FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugen Jurcuț was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 90 minutes in the game Eric Hrean did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Maxim Lupoi. After a defensive mix-up in Santul FC's zone, Mario Fernandino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sorin Deliman came out of the goal and Mario Fernandino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santul FC's Sorin Deliman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Fontirroig in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Bolivia left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Santul FC.
