Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ladislao Osasun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Calixto Landoff in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A hard shot 13 in the game by Calixto Landoff from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Calixto Landoff sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 20 minutes into the match, Angua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Ladislao Osasun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Berto kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Augusto Sagrario sent off a good shot on target. Ladislao Osasun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Angua FC's Augusto Sagrario got a free kick in the 28th minute. Ladislao Osasun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 33rd minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Eufemio, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Angua FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carolo Eufemio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Calixto Landoff made the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carolo Eufemio's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Eufemio in the 56th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulino Florin hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After 60 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Augusto Sagrario who took care of the corner kick. Carolo Eufemio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Cristian Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Angua FC made a substitution. Braulio Lopes replaced Calixto Landoff. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. Ladislao Osasun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 73rd minute. Braulio Gartzi kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute Braulio Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, one of Ecuador:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ecuador. The referee gave Angua FC a penalty, 88 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Marco Laurendi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. 2-0. After a rather tough play, Angua FC's Pedro Berto got a free kick in the 90th minute. 92 minutes into the game, Agustín Saelices recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ladislao Osasun. Agustín Saelices showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. 96 minutes into the match, Angua FC's goalkeeper Ladislao Osasun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Angua FC had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
