Jiang Bing Ning showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Rouco in the 10th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Jiang Bing Ning in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 24 minutes into the match, Rossangeles's goalkeeper Jiang Bing Ning had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. 26 minutes into the match, Rossangeles's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Jiang Bing Ning reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27 minutes Rossangeles's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jiang Bing Ning quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 29 minutes into the match, Rossangeles's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Jiang Bing Ning reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Rossangeles's Rodri Palacios in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal. 38 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Rodri Palacios came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Jiang Bing Ning made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 52nd minute of play. In the 55th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jiang Bing Ning saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Rossangeles getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Adam Zieba hit a great ball. Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Jiang Bing Ning didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Mexico had held the ball for most of the match.
