Felix Montenegro took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roland Alström. Roland Alström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 12th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Alström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute of play forced KAMILOS's goalkeeper Roland Alström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roland Alström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konrad Lodowy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to KAMILOS getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Konrad Lodowy hit a great ball. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Alström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Alström having to interfere. Julio Vera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Michal Banan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 31 minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, KAMILOS's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Roland Alström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaroslaw Majdoch kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 42ndth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KAMILOS's Roland Alström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Felix Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roland Alström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jerzy Blicharz to make the kick off. Roland Alström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 61st minute of play. After 62 minutes KAMILOS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but KAMILOS's Roland Alström did a great save. The supporters of Ecuador booed when KAMILOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfred Pleban didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Roland Alström made a huge save. In the 69th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roland Alström. Roland Alström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Roland Alström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 71st minute. When Konrad Lodowy fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KAMILOS's protests and gave Konrad Lodowy a yellow card for diving instead. After 72 played minutes KAMILOS got a freekick which was hit by Konrad Lodowy. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Roland Alström in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roland Alström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 75th minute of play. In the 80th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that KAMILOS's Roland Alström managed to reach the ball for a save. With a little luck, KAMILOS's Roland Alström got control of the ball when Agustín Saelices tried to sneak it across the goal line. KAMILOS's Jerzy Blicharz got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Roland Alström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
