Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cumali Kayansel kicked off to start the match. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Türk Polis Gücü's goalkeeper Akşemseddin Erzan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Türk Polis Gücü's attentive Yasin Ünsevin managed to snatch the ball when Jonathan Venegas made a throw-in in the 25th minute of the game. A collision led to Türk Polis Gücü getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Yasin Ünsevin hit a great ball. If Cumali Kayansel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cumali Kayansel, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. But to his dismay, Cumali Kayansel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 37 minutes into the game, Salvador Gisbert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Türk Polis Gücü the free kick. Salvador Gisbert hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. If Cumali Kayansel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Yasin Ünsevin, made in the 53rd minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cumali Kayansel in the 72nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Akşemseddin Erzan in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guillermo Mariano made in the 79th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Tomas Illescas. After a defensive mix-up in Türk Polis Gücü's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Akşemseddin Erzan came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 86 minutes into the match, Türk Polis Gücü's goalkeeper Akşemseddin Erzan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. 89 minutes into the match, Türk Polis Gücü's goalkeeper Akşemseddin Erzan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. In the 91st minute, Venezuela's Patricio Costa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venezuela's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
