Honduras's Valentín Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gláuber Cerezo, made in the 11th minute of the game. 14 minutes into the game, Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's Basílio Silveira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Basílio Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Jacuitiba - FSCMZ booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentín Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honduras's Luca Espinar got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Basílio Silveira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. After 33 played minutes Jacuitiba - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Gláuber Cerezo. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Valentín Carvallo hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the game, Basílio Silveira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lautaro Navarro. Basílio Silveira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Gláuber Cerezo kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Mastur Bandov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's Mastur Bandov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 54th minute, Chico Rossi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 59 minutes, Basílio Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basílio Silveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Mastur Bandov successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 72 minutes into the game, Basílio Silveira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Lautaro Navarro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Yetkin Hekim got a throw-in 84 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Jair Mitov. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
