After some careless play in the AntuFB defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernandinho Muslera. The AntuFB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernandinho Muslera should have stopped the shot. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute, Aybar Samih got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gazanfer Sabeddin's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gazanfer Sabeddin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ecuador booed when AntuFB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gazanfer Sabeddin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 20th minute of play forced AntuFB's goalkeeper Fernandinho Muslera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernandinho Muslera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 27th minute of the match. Fernandinho Muslera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Yusuf Bahadır Kunt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Julio Vera firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 32nd minute of the match AntuFB got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Norm Mcinnes ran over to the corner to take the kick. 37 minutes into the match, AntuFB's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Fernandinho Muslera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Fernandinho Muslera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. AntuFB's Fernandinho Muslera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 41st minute of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Fernandinho Muslera made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Fernandinho Muslera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AntuFB's Gazanfer Sabeddin got his second yellow card of the match in the 54th minute. The referee ordered Gazanfer Sabeddin off the ground. In the 55th minute, Gazanfer Sabeddin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fernandinho Muslera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Fernandinho Muslera made a huge save. With a little luck, AntuFB's Fernandinho Muslera got control of the ball when Agustín Saelices tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 69th minute, which Fernandinho Muslera however easily saved by the left post. Fernandinho Muslera stood somewhat misplaced when Felix Montenegro came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 73 minute. Fernandinho Muslera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 81st minute of the match. In the 85th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the game, Luis Andino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AntuFB the free kick. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Luis Andino hit a great ball. In the 94th match minute, AntuFB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yusuf Bahadır Kunt to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
