In the 10th minute of the match Jean-Marc Hidalgo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dündar Ozansu in the 14th minute. In the 21st minute, Cristian Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of Ecuador:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of nRdLiFe:s goal. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Antonio Arias got a free kick in the 47th minute. After having played for 48 minutes, Jean-Marc Hidalgo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. nRdLiFe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jean-Marc Hidalgo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmet Hakan Akçay to strike the kick off in the second half. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Hakan Akçay in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th match minute, nRdLiFe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alim Karaman to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, nRdLiFe's goalkeeper Meng Ke had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the match, nRdLiFe's Ahmet Orhan Toycan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 84 minutes into the game, nRdLiFe's Dündar Ozansu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 87th minute Dündar Ozansu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alim Karaman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 89th minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind nRdLiFe's goalkeeper Meng Ke, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Songur Mirza's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Songur Mirza helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to nRdLiFe getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Songur Mirza hit a great ball.
