The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Benito Oier notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 15 minutes into the game, F.C Un dia de partit's Benito Oier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Honorio Karlo got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benito Oier might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benito Oier ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Oier in the 20th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, F.C Un dia de partit's Benito Oier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benito Oier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Benito Oier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 39 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Oier came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Espiridion Serena hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. When Alex Chicote fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Alex Chicote a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of F.C Un dia de partit booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. F.C Un dia de partit's Benito Oier got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benito Oier struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C Un dia de partit. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benito Oier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Benito Oier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benito Oier in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Benito Oier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Oier, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. F.C Un dia de partit's Oğuzcan Sayhan was substituted for Benito Oier. After 75 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. 82 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Oğuzcan Sayhan came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oğuzcan Sayhan in the 90th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, F.C Un dia de partit's Oğuzcan Sayhan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Guillermo Mariano charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guillermo Mariano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
