The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Ture Viberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 57th minute of play. Alex Chicote charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Gnaget leker's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. After 78 played minutes Gnaget leker got a freekick which was hit by Ermegildo Indartsu. Ture Viberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 81 minutes Gnaget leker's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. Jonathan Venegas made a great header on Venezuela's corner, it was just that Gnaget leker's Ture Viberg managed to reach the ball for a save.
