Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Türk Polis Gücü's Zé Dos Reis. But to his dismay, Zé Dos Reis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Dos Reis, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The audience was convinced that Zé Dos Reis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Dos Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zé Dos Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zé Dos Reis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Alberto Gisbert hit a great ball. After 45 played minutes Türk Polis Gücü got a freekick which was hit by Çakır Acunman. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Francisco Seco made the kick off in the second half. Zé Dos Reis took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso.
