Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Atarrabi in the 3rd minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Teobaldo Phelipe recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Teobaldo Phelipe showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. A collision led to Cha Fe FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Anibal Abar hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elvio Pacho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 12th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Pacho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elvio Pacho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Cha Fe FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Elvio Pacho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 24th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teobaldo Phelipe got free with Julio Vera in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 29th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Pacho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elvio Pacho saved Cha Fe FC from getting behind. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cha Fe FC's goalie prevented a goal. 38 minutes into the match, Cha Fe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Elvio Pacho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jimeno Atarrabi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Elvio Pacho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cha Fe FC's Elvio Pacho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elvio Pacho came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Felix Montenegro. But to his dismay, Felix Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Teobaldo Phelipe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Elvio Pacho in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Cha Fe FC fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Cha Fe FC's Teobaldo Phelipe looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cha Fe FC's Eduardo Mede was substituted for Augusto Jurdan. Cha Fe FC made a substitution. Basilio Jusepe replaced Jimeno Atarrabi. Elvio Pacho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 76th minute of the match. Elvio Pacho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Elvio Pacho. Elvio Pacho yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cha Fe FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Elvio Pacho made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Elvio Pacho was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 86 minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basilio Jusepe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
