Colombia's Axel Montenegro quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Brujas KV's Torrey Molloy got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marco Chuse kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After 16 played minutes Brujas KV got a freekick which was hit by Marco Chuse. If Abram Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inge Marin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 25th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Torrey Molloy's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thorvald Egfjord. 35 minutes into the match, Torrey Molloy dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares, 1-0. Inge Marin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 39th minute of play. When Axel Montenegro fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colombia's protests and gave Axel Montenegro a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Brujas KV booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Brujas KV made a substitution. Óli Manfredi replaced Torrey Molloy. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Santino Seco took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Inge Marin. Inge Marin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 56 minutes into the game, Santino Seco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Inge Marin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Rios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute Thorvald Egfjord shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Rosio, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute, Óli Manfredi made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Colombia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Brujas KV:s goal. 91 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Rosio came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Octavio Rosio in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
