SC Duisburg 2012's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ab Surdo in the 9th minute. The corner ended in Ab Surdo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Tombolo Wa Kadima De Reckheim sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to SC Duisburg 2012 getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Geert Vedder hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 19 minutes SC Duisburg 2012's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Yu Ming Nan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Tombolo Wa Kadima De Reckheim scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 1-0. Tombolo Wa Kadima De Reckheim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in SC Duisburg 2012's zone, Agustín Saelices stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yu Ming Nan came out of the goal and Agustín Saelices tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes into the game, Tombolo Wa Kadima De Reckheim recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Tombolo Wa Kadima De Reckheim showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Yu Ming Nan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, SC Duisburg 2012's Arjan Stuijt got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Yu Ming Nan made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 56th match minute, SC Duisburg 2012 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tombolo Wa Kadima De Reckheim to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the match, SC Duisburg 2012's goalkeeper Yu Ming Nan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustín Saelices. Tombolo Wa Kadima De Reckheim struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Duisburg 2012. 61 minutes into the match, SC Duisburg 2012's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Yu Ming Nan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Duisburg 2012's goalkeeper Yu Ming Nan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Felix Montes made in the 72nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Felix Montenegro however managed to control. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tombolo Wa Kadima De Reckheim in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tombolo Wa Kadima De Reckheim in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Geert Vedder hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tombolo Wa Kadima De Reckheim in the 79th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Tombolo Wa Kadima De Reckheim notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carmine Berardi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Daniel Zorita hit a great ball. SC Duisburg 2012's Yu Ming Nan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save SC Duisburg 2012 from getting a goal against them. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Yu Ming Nan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The SC Duisburg 2012 players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
