Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Lastra Pinga made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vassilis Vonortas in the 15th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vassilis Vonortas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Lastra Pinga came out of the goal and Mariano Lacasa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the match, Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s Vassilis Vonortas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s Vassilis Vonortas got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vassilis Vonortas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Lacasa made a kick off. Orlando Casaus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lastra Pinga having to make a save. 68 minutes into the match, Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Carballar came free, but Lastra Pinga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vassilis Vonortas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Thiago Pliego came out and tried to block the shot, but Vassilis Vonortas slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 69th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vassilis Vonortas. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. Vassilis Vonortas might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thiago Pliego. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vassilis Vonortas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 94th minute Vassilis Vonortas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
