Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. 8 minutes into the match, Seraċini Għawdxin's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Rahim Kornes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Chile booed when Seraċini Għawdxin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Caruana didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Negro got free with Thiago Pliego in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rahim Kornes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 19th minute of play. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Fernando Negro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Seraċini Għawdxin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Caruana to maneuver through the defense. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Miguel Caruana kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Orlando Casaus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernando Negro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Bejrut in the 51st minute of play. Filip Bejrut kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Seraċini Għawdxin's Rahim Kornes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Song Wei Yun in the 59th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Filip Bejrut ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Pliego was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Song Wei Yun in the 70th minute of the match. After 71st play minutes Song Wei Yun shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Thiago Pliego and just under the crossbar into goal. Chile's Pedro Indiano managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Miguel Caruana in the 73 minute of the game. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Neil Degabriele was slow to take the kick. During this time Seraċini Għawdxin's players had a chance to rest. In the 86thth minute of the game Fernando Negro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rahim Kornes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavier Figueroa, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xavier Figueroa in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rahim Kornes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Seraċini Għawdxin's Miguel Caruana got a free kick in the 89th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Song Wei Yun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seraċini Għawdxin's supporters rose to their feet, but Song Wei Yun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thiago Pliego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Seraċini Għawdxin were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Chile for a fine match.
