Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Matanza and Steelers's Ulrico Herzog started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimmy Örtendal in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 10th minute of play forced Matanza and Steelers's goalkeeper Renan Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Renan Mendes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 14th minute, which Renan Mendes however easily saved by the left post. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Tello in the 18th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aaron Tello in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Renan Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Facundo Cadaval got a free kick in the 27th minute. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leysus Oktavianus in the 29th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Tello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. Alberto Tafallas short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Renan Mendes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Leysus Oktavianus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 46th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Renan Mendes could save by the left post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. The supporters of Mexico booed when Matanza and Steelers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renan Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leysus Oktavianus, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Aaron Tello came free with the goalkeeper in the 59th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dante Lacasa could save by the left post. In the 60th minute, Renan Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jimmy Örtendal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leysus Oktavianus might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Lacasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leysus Oktavianus ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Leysus Oktavianus sped through Mexico's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. Matanza and Steelers made a substitution. Wiliam Peixoto replaced Aaron Tello. After 74 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Macos Graciani. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leysus Oktavianus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the match, Leysus Oktavianus notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 87 minutes into the game, Alberto Tafalla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Renan Mendes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wiliam Peixoto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. In the 95th minute, Macos Graciani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Lacasa was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jimmy Örtendal.
