The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Wennerquist during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 7th minute, Martin Wennerquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Sandell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Sandell, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hampus Gallberg having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Mansfield Town FC's goalkeeper Hampus Gallberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ingvar Häger kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Hampus Gallberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mansfield Town FC's Michael Gudmundsson was substituted for Andreas Sandell. In the 88th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Joel Gaona fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hampus Gallberg quite easily take care of the ball. Mansfield Town FC's Max Lindqvist collided with an opponent after 90 minutes. He was hit so badly that he fractured his arm. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lautaro Mancebo during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mansfield Town FC's Johan Thidén was substituted for Max Lindqvist. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Lautaro Mancebo hit a great ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
