Lucrețiu Botgros's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Benito Sanz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Axel Tasis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sandu Răuţă read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucrețiu Botgros in the 44th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Stelian Isopescu came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Lucrețiu Botgros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stelian Isopescu to make the kick off. Aaron Alcocer kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After having played for 56 minutes, Lautaro Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Puig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Axel Tasis scored 1-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sandu Răuţă, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. -BZF- F.C. ANONYMOUS's Stelian Isopescu got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 66th minute. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Lucrețiu Botgros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Sandu Răuţă managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Costa Rica's Axel Tasis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to -BZF- F.C. In the 92nd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolae Atodiresei in the 94th minute of play. Lucrețiu Botgros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. After 96 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. Juan Rubio's late challenge caught a -BZF- F.C. ANONYMOUS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Rubio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 98th minute, Juan Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 100th minute of the match Vali Miclovan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz skillfully saved the ball.
