The Kind of Blue fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Kind of Blue's Vincent Kellbom looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Vincent Kellbom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kind of Blue's supporters rose to their feet, but Vincent Kellbom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 93rd minute, Sam Campbell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilhelm Galle was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. USA's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
