The audience was convinced that Jacobo Pacho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. 14 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobo Pacho came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luisito Salvino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Darman Ardiansyah. In the 24th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisito Salvino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Japy Man's goalkeeper Luisito Salvino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Luisito Salvino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luisito Salvino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 46th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Darman Ardiansyah sent off a good shot on target. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Darman Ardiansyah made the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Japy Man got a freekick which was hit by Jacobo Pacho. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luisito Salvino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 58 minutes, Artemio Marcones mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Japy Man and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 59 played minutes Japy Man got a freekick which was hit by Artemio Marcones. When Artemio Marcones was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 61 minutes had been played. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Darman Ardiansyah went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 69th minute Jacobo Pacho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Japy Man's Jacobo Pacho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jacobo Pacho went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. When Jacobo Pacho came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Japy Man fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacobo Pacho couldn't finish the play. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Luisito Salvino made a huge save. Luisito Salvino made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Japy Man were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
